Youth Spring Baseball Camps

The Eglin Youth Center invites kids ages 5 through 12 to learn the fundamentals of baseball at its Youth Spring Baseball Camps! Participants will learn good sportsmanship, offensive and defensive field positions, throwing and hitting skills, equipment basics, and fielding techniques. Once the basics are met, participants will then transition to an assortment of warm-up conditioning exercises, including stretching and running.

All sessions will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Youth Field 1 behind the Eglin Youth Center.

Campers will be provided some equipment like bats and balls, but will need to bring their own ballglove and hat. If participation allows, a game will close out each day’s camp session — bringing into play all the different aspects the campers learned that day!
