The Open Journal | SRP Edition
Wind down and carve out some space for creativity and calm at the Eglin Community Library’s newest program: The Open Journal. This monthly evening of journaling for adults and teens takes place every 3rd Monday of the month, and during the months of June and July, will be a part of the libraryโs Summer Reading Program on June 15 and July 20 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.
An optional prompt will be presented, but everyone is free to write, draw, collage, plan, reflect, optimize, and experiment! All journaling styles are welcome. The library provides supplies – you show up and get creating. This event will be hosted in a quiet room with soft music to promote a calming atmosphere.
No registration required. Teens and adults only. To maintain the intended atmosphere, the library’s asks for no children under 13, please.
