Military Tuition Assistance Briefing

The Eglin Education Center offers Initial/Follow-Up Military Tuition Assistance briefings every Wednesday morning, required for all service members who wish to use Air Force Tuition Assistance (TA) for the first time, and for Airmen who have been inactive for a year or more. Topics include accreditation, transfer credits, testing, college fees, course delivery method, on-base programs, local school options, online programs, evaluated education plan, TA policy and procedures, Pell grants and other funding sources, course enrollment changes, AF COOL, Skillbridge, foreign transcript evaluation, AFVEC, and CCAF degree requirements, and more.

Briefings are offered both in-person every Wednesday at 8 am and Virtually via Microsoft TEAMS the Second Wednesday of each month at 1 pm* (CST) *Ensure login before 1 pm as the briefing begins promptly

Attendees will receive an information packet to include the DAFI 36-2681 Checklist. This must be signed and returned to the Org box to be cleared in AFVEC.
