Eglin Beach Park Opens May 22

Eglin Outdoor Recreation (ODR) opens the Beach Park on Friday, May 22,10 am – 5 pm!
Open Monday, May 25: 10 AM – 5 PM for Memorial Day
Only those with proper Military/DoD ID and their families are authorized. $10 at the gate, cash or credit card.
Regular Hours of Operation will be Wednesday- Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm.
- No glass allowed
- No trailers, RVs, or buses allowed
- Swim at your own risk
Okaloosa County beaches use a color-coded flag system to indicate hazards. Check the daily conditions by texting BEACH to 44144 or by checking the Okaloosa Beach Safety page.
Base Environmental has well-marked areas of the Beach Park that are sensitive to nesting birds. All patrons must abide by the no-entry rules for these areas. Parking is first-come, first-served.
