Exceptional Readers is a dedicated story time held at the Eglin Community Library for families with special needs. Children and parents of the Eglin Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) are welcome to enjoy stories, singing, dancing, crafting, and all the fun of being together! Story time is essential for early learners especially, as it helps to introduce new words, sentence structures, and modes of communication, while also helping students to engage with new perspectives and practice socialization skills.
Participation is FREE and no registration is required.
Parents or guardians must remain in the facility and are asked to please supervise their children for the duration of the program (approximately 45 minutes).
