The Eglin Beach Park — located on Okaloosa Island just west of the Destin Bridge (Map)
Eglin Outdoor Recreation (ODR) has opened the Beach Park in order to provide increased access to safe recreational activities for Team Eglin and their families. Only those with proper Military/DoD ID and their families are authorized.
Parking is $10 at the gate, cash or credit card.

• Thursday – Sunday, 10 am-5 pm
• Closed Monday – Wednesday
Okaloosa County beaches use a color-coded flag system to indicate hazards. Check the daily conditions by texting BEACH to 44144 or by checking the Okaloosa Beach Safety page.
- No glass allowed
- No trailers, RV’s or buses allowed
- Swim at your own risk
-Base Environmental has well-marked areas of the Beach Park that are sensitive for nesting birds. All patrons must abide by the no-entry rules for these areas.
Parking is first-come, first-served.
