Are you a talented vocalist with a passion for patriotism? Here’s your chance to shine! Fitness & Sports is looking for a gifted singer to perform the National Anthem at the 40th Anniversary Gate To Gate Memorial Run/Walk on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Tryout Information:
Date: May 1, 2026
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Location: Building 2397 (Adjacent to the DDRP building)

The chosen singer will have the honor of kicking off the Gate To Gate Memorial Run/Walk with a moving rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

This beloved annual event is a 4.4-mile run/walk that pays tribute to our nation’s fallen heroes. This year marks the 40th anniversary, and to celebrate, the event will return to its original gate-to-gate format, a historic 4.4-mile course across Eglin Air Force Base. The Gate To Gate Memorial Run/Walk is an opportunity for the community to come together and show our unwavering support for the men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country.
