America’s Kids Color Run

The Eglin Youth Center is hosting the 2026 America’s Kids Color Run fun run on April 24 from 5 to 7 p.m.! Join the fun at the running track across from Unity Park, where participants will be doused in a rainbow of cornstarch-based chalk paint! The event is FREE and open to all youth with base access.

Age groups and distances are as follows:
Ages 5-6 | One Lap = Quarter Mile
Ages 7-9 | Two Laps = Half Mile
Ages 10+ | Four Laps = One Mile

(Participants are welcome to run in a higher age bracket if they wish to.)

This is a fun run and the race will not be timed. There will be no trophies provided. All participants will receive a race medal and snacks will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE: Pre-registered event participants are required to pick up their Race Packets (containing their event t-shirt and other items) at the Eglin Youth Center PRIOR TO EVENT DAY. Youth Center Staff will inform registrants via email when their Race Packet is ready and available for pick-up.

Parents and guardians are invited to cheer on their runners from the grassy area inside the track, but will not be permitted onto the track during the fun run.
