SLO: School “Care Strikes” Program

The Eglin School Liaison’s School “Care Strikes” Program is a positive partnership between the Okaloosa County School District and Eglin AFB. The purpose of the program is to utilize the human resources and talents of Team Eglin personnel to strengthen, enhance and enrich the quality of education and needed services in Okaloosa County public schools. Military members and civilians are the foundation of the School “Care Strikes” Program, committing time, energy and expertise to an individual school and impacting students in a positive way. Interested squadrons and/or flights will work with a specific school to help sustain and enhance the education opportunities for the students in that school. A commitment from all partners at the highest level is essential.
