Get your flying skills off the ground this year! Earn your pilot certification at Eglin’s Aero Club for much less than any off-base facility. Private Pilot Course, Commercial Pilot Course, Instrument Rating, Flight Instructor Course are all available, as well as regularly-offered Safety Briefings and Ground School training. The Aero Club offers on-site testing for all FAA certifications. The Aero Club also sells all of the necessary materials and equipment you will need to make your dream of flying come true. If you are not interested in being a pilot, but spend a lot of time flying, then consider taking a Pinch-Hitters Course, which equips you with the basic skills for flying in the case of an emergency. Drop by the Aero Club any weekday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or until 1 p.m. on Saturdays, and they’ll be glad to talk to you about flying and answer any questions you may have. The coffee is always on and it’s free!
