Arty Party

It’s an Arty Party at the Eglin Community Library this spring! In March and April, kids and teens can explore, create, and get messy using library-provided art supplies! Each month features a new theme or artist. A variety of art supplies based on that month’s theme will be centrally located in the library. Books from the library collection and an example piece made by library staff will be displayed to help provide a starting point! Library staff will share a brief description of the theme (artist, technique, or supply), followed by an hour of self-guided creation. Library staff will remain to offer support and guidance.

Nature & Floral Inspired Art Themes:
March 9 – Cyanotype (a.k.a. Sun Flowers!) Learn to paint with the sun.
April 13 – Georgia O’Keeffe. Creations inspired by the modernist painter.
