Eglin’s Military & Family Readiness Center welcomes expectant parents from all branches of service to its popular and fun-filled “Bundles for Babies” workshop. New and soon-to-be parents (not limited to first pregnancies) are invited to learn the basic skills of parenting and caring for a newborn, as well as financial skills to help with budgeting for the new baby — from birth to college. This class also provides an overview of support programs available to parents both on-base and in the surrounding community, including the New Parent Support Program, child care, Tricare, and other relevant organizations.
Class is open to all DoD cardholders. Qualifying attendees* will receive a $100 voucher from the Air Force Aid Society (AFAS) to help purchase some of baby’s first essentials. *(Excludes Army personnel and civilians.)
This workshop satisfies the mandatory “Birth of First Child” financial touchpoint requirement. Please call 850-882-9060 to register.
